Theres no shortage of dangerous areas that tourists should stay away from in Memphis. The police have tried to bring sanity into the area by increasing their presence day and night. Im now dreading this trip with my Grandson. However, as is the case in any densely populated area, there are always a few bad apples that aim to ruin the peace. It may be one of the most dangerous places to be, but if you stay alert, keep your eyes ahead, and stay out of other peoples business, you should be fine. This often leaves criminals on the streets, supervised by people who have no time to do so. Late at night the situation might change when there is not a lot of people around. Don't be a sucker.
